Mr. President, if you did say that, you should resign from office, because it would so clearly show how detached you are from this catastrophe.

#1 BP and all those people who allow the continued drilling of oil (knowing that oil spills continue to pollute our environment and harm living things) ... these people are responsible for making the people affected and the environment made whole. [We know, of course, the environment will never be made whole]

#2 Those folks who have lost their livelihood and jobs need jobs and should be compensated by BP.

#3 People who do clean-up work have to receive training because of health hazards, etc.

#4 Who knows what the long term effects of exposure to poisonous/toxic fumes, etc. will be.
